Liberase GMP Grade
A GMP product for tissue engineering purposes
The goal of all cell isolation procedures is to optimize the yield and viability of functionally active dissociated cells. The new Liberase enzyme blends are designed to do just that, by greatly improving both the efficiency and effectiveness of your cell isolation process.
The new 2nd generation Liberase products are blends of highly purified enzymes, designed to improve the quality and reproducibility of tissue dissociation, and improve the health of isolated cells. Liberase enzymes can replace traditional collagenases, which are a crude and variable fermentation by-product of Clostridium histolyticum.
We developed our new 2nd generation Liberase blends through the combination of our 40 years of experience, continued investment, and the joint efforts of our Life Sciences, Pharma and Diagnostics experts at our R&D and manufacturing site in Penzberg, Germany.
Isolating distinct cell types from different animal or human tissues can be challenging. And tissue dissociation for clinical applications e.g. islet and stem cell isolation, can present unique performance and regulatory compliance demands. Liberase formulations are exclusive combinations of ultra-pure collagenases and neutral proteases, designed to help you achieve optimal results with your isolation protocol. Tissue engineering and transplantation applications call for cGMP production processes, and ideally animal-free materials, to avoid contamination risk. The new 2nd generation Liberase blends are free of mammalian or avian tissue-derived materials, and are produced in compliance with GMP guidelines.
