For your convenience, PCR-Grade Nucleotides are available as nucleotide sets (all 4 nucleotides in separate vials), as single nucleotides, as kits (dNTPs, buffer, and polymerase in separate vials), ready-to-use mixes (premixed solutions of all 4 nucleotides), and ready-to-use master mixes that contain polymerase, nucleotides, and buffer (premixed 2x solution).

PCR Nucleotide Mix, PCR Grade
This ready-to-use nucleotide mix is a premixed solution of multiple PCR Grade nucleotide sodium salts in water: dATP, dGTP, dCTP, and dTTP (each at a concentration of 10 mM). This mix is optimized for use in all types of amplification reactions and primer-extension reactions.


PCR Nucleotide MixPLUS, PCR Grade
This ready-to-use nucleotide mix is a premixed solution of the sodium salts of dATP, dGTP, and dCTP, each at a concentration of 10 mM, and dUTP at a concentration of 30 mM in water. The incorporation of dUTP in place of dTTP allows the degradation of contaminating PCR products from former reactions, using Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UNG) to prevent carryover contamination from previous amplifications.

Pwo Master
The Pwo Master contains all the reagents required for performing High Fidelity PCR (except template and primer) in a ready-to-use, double-concentrated master mix. The Pwo Master results in approximately 18 times the fidelity of Taq DNA Polymerase.

Use the Deoxynucleoside Triphosphate Set, Li-Salt for DNA sequencing, labeling, and all types of amplification reactions or primer extension reactions. It contains 4 individual vials of dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP each as a 100 mM solution of the Li-salt.

dUTP, Li-Salt
Use dUTP, Li-Salt for DNA sequencing, labeling, and all types of amplification reactions or primer extension reactions. It contains 2´-Deoxyuridine-5´-triphosphate as a 100 mM solution of the Li-salt.


dITP, Li-Salt
Use dITP, Li-Salt for the preparation of poly(dI) x poly(dC) and poly[d(I-C)] with DNA Polymerase and dCTP. It contains 2´ -Deoxyinosine-5´ -triphosphate as a 100 mM solution of the Li-salt.


Modified nucleotides


Biotin-11-CTP (Biotin-11-cytidine-5'-triphosphate)
Use Biotin-11-CTP to replace CTP in the in vitro transcription reaction for RNA labeling. The labeled RNA can be subsequently detected with a fluorescent streptavidin conjugate or by ELISA using a streptavidin AP conjugate. Biotin-11-CTP is a substrate for SP6, T3, and T7 RNA Polymerases.


Biotin-16-UTP (Biotin-16-uridine-5'-triphosphate)
Use Biotin-16-UTP to replace UTP in the in vitro transcription reaction for RNA labeling. The labeled RNA can subsequently be detected by ELISA using a streptavidin AP conjugate for nucleic acid detection. Biotin-16-UTP is a substrate for SP6, T3, and T7 RNA Polymerases.


Biotin-16-dUTP (Biotin-16-2'-deoxy-uridine-5'-triphosphate)
Use Biotin-16-dUTP for enzymatic DNA labeling. The labeled DNA can subsequently be detected by ELISA using a streptavidin-AP conjugate for nucleic acid detection. Biotin-16-dUTP can replace dTTP in nick translation as well as in random-primed DNA labeling. The nucleotide is further used as a substrate for E. coli DNA polymerase I, T4 DNA polymerase, and terminal transferase.


Biotin-16-ddUTP
Biotin-16-ddUTP is preferentially used for 3'-end labeling of oligonucleotides with terminal transferase. It is also a substrate for E. coli DNA Polymerase I (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and T7 DNA Polymerases, Taq DNA Polymerase, and reverse transcriptase (e.g., from Transcriptor and M-MuLV). Labeled oligonucleotides can be subsequently detected by ELISA using the streptavidin-AP conjugate for nucleic acid detection.


7-Deaza-dGTP
Use 7-Deaza-dGTP instead of dGTP in primer extension reactions (e.g., sequencing according to Sanger) and receive a better resolution of GC-rich regions. 7-Deaza-dGTP contains 7-deaza-2'-deoxy-guanosine-5'-triphosphate as a 10mM solution of the Li-salt.


Digoxigenin-11-UTP
Use Digoxigenin-11-UTP to replace UTP in the in vitro transcription reaction for RNA labeling. The labeled RNA can subsequently be detected with the Anti-DIG-AP, Fab fragments, the DIG Nucleic Acid Detection Kit, or with the DIG Luminescent Detection Kit for nucleic acids. Digoxigenin-11-UTP is used as a substrate for SP6, T3, and T7 RNA Polymerase. It is provided as a 10 mM and a 3.5 mM solution of the Li-salt.


Digoxigenin-11-dUTP, alkali-stable
Use DIG-11-dUTP for enzymatic DNA labeling. The labeled DNA can subsequently be detected with the DIG Nucleic Acid Detection Kit or with the DIG Luminescent Detection Kit for Nucleic Acids. DIG-11-dUTP can replace dTTP in nick translation, random-primed DNA labeling, and in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for DNA labeling. The nucleotide is also used as a substrate for the E. coli DNA Polymerase I (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and Taq DNA Polymerases, reverse transcriptase (e.g., from Transcriptor and M-MuLV), and for the terminal transferase for DNA 3'-end labeling. Digoxigenin is bound to the nucleotide part via an alkali-resistant ether linkage. When stripping and reprobing of Southern blots is planned, the use of the alkali-labile DIG-11-dUTP formulation is recommended.


Digoxigenin-11-dUTP, alkali-labile
Use DIG-11-dUTP for enzymatic DNA labeling. The labeled DNA can subsequently be detected with the DIG Nucleic Acid Detection Kit, or with the DIG Luminescent Detection Kit for Nucleic Acids. The use of this alkali-labile formulation is especially recommended when stripping and reprobing of Southern blots is planned. DIG-11-dUTP can replace dTTP in nick translation, random-primed DNA labeling, and in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The nucleotide is also used as a substrate for the E. coli DNA Polymerase I (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and Taq DNA Polymerases, reverse transcriptase (e.g., from Transcriptor and M-MuLV), and the terminal transferase (e.g., DNA 3'-end labeling).


Digoxigenin-11-ddUTP
Use Digoxigenin-11-ddUTP for 3'-end labeling of oligonucleotides with terminal transferase. It is also a substrate for E. coli DNA Polymerase I (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and T7 DNA Polymerase, Taq DNA Polymerase, and reverse transcriptase (e.g., from Transcriptor and M-MuLV). In addition to common hybridization techniques, DIG labeled oligonucleotides are especially useful for screening expression libraries for sequence specific DNA binding proteins (e.g., transcription factors).


Fluorescein-12-dUTP
Use Fluorescein-12-dUTP for enzymatic labeling of DNA. It can replace dTTP in nick translation and in random-primed DNA labeling. The preparation is used as a substrate for E. coli DNA Polymerase I (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and T7 DNA Polymerases, Taq DNA Polymerase, and reverse transcriptase (e.g., from Transcriptor and M-MuLV). It is a substrate for DNA 3'-end labeling using terminal transferase. Fluorescein-labeled probes are suitable for use in in situ hybridization with direct fluorescence detection, or detection by ELISA using anti-fluorescein-AP.


Fluorescein-12-UTP
Fluorescein-12-UTP is used as a substrate for SP6, T3, and T7 RNA Polymerases. It can replace UTP in the in vitro transcription reaction for RNA labeling. Labeled RNA can be subsequently detected by in situ hybridization and direct fluorescence detection or detection by ELISA technique using anti-fluorescein-AP.


5'-Methyl-2'-deoxycytidine-5'-triphosphate
Use 5-methyl-2'-deoxy-cytidine-5'-triphosphate for the in vitro synthesis of hemi-methylated DNA.


Tetramethyl-rhodamine-5-dUTP
Tetramethylrhodamine-5-dUTP is used for enzymatic DNA labeling. Rhodamine-labeled probes show red fluorescence and are well suited for in situ hybridization using direct fluorescence detection. Multiple fluorescence-labeling using fluorescein-12-dUTP (yellow) is also possible.


Dideoxynucleotides


Dideoxynucleoside Triphosphate Set, Sequencing Grade
The Dideoxynucleoside Triphosphate Set contains 4 individual vials of ddATP, ddCTP, ddGTP, and ddTTP, each as a 10 mM solution of the Na-salt in water. Sequencing-Grade Dideoxynucleotides are optimized for use in sequencing and cycle-sequencing reactions.


Dideoxynucleoside Triphosphate Set, Li-Salt
Use the Li-salt solution of dideoxynucleoside triphosphates for DNA sequencing, labeling, or primer extension reactions. The 2',3'-dideoxynucleoside triphosphates inhibit the chain elongation of a given primer catalyzed by Klenow enzyme, a feature for DNA sequencing according to Sanger. Dideoxynucleoside Triphosphate Set, Li-Salt contains 4 individual vials of ddATP, ddCTP, ddGTP, ddTTP each as a 10 mM solution of the Li-salt in water.

The Ribonucleoside Triphosphate Set is ideal for in vitro transcription reactions and RNA polymerase-directed DNA sequencing. It contains 4 individual vials of ATP, CTP, GTP, and UTP each as a 100 mM solution of the Li-salt.
