Specificity: The antibody reacts with the thymidine analogue 5-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine (BrdU) and with cellular DNA that contains incorporated BrdU; it shows no crossreactivity with other cellular components. The antibody may be applied for the qualitative measurement of cell proliferation (BrdU incorporation) on a single-cell level, and for quantitative measurement in a cell population by ELISA.
Working concentration: ELISA: approx. 0.2 U/ml, Immunochemistry: 1.5 U/ml
