Molecular weight: Mr = approx. 220 kD
pH-Optimum: 6.0 - 6.5
Specific activity: approx. 80 U/mg at 25°C (140 U/mg at 37°C) and pH 7 with 4-nitrophenyl-β-D-glucuronide as substrate; 1 ml contains at least 140 U at 37°C
Specificity: cleaves terminal glucuronic acid which is β-linked to mono-, oligo- or polysaccharides or phenol
